Portrait of Paul St. Paul on Love
In observance of the Year of St. Paul, Father Norman Langenbrunner presents insights into the writing of the Apostle to the Gentiles. If you’ve been to some Catholic weddings in your life, chances are you’ve heard the 13th Chapter of Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians. It is a beautiful, poetic presentation of St. Paul’s understanding of love. Exploring Our Faith Dr. Cecilia A. Moore, associate director of the degree program for the Institute
for Black Catholic Studies at the University of Dayton (Dayton, Ohio), specializes
in U.S. Catholic history. She is currently working on the history of Black
conversion to Roman Catholicism in the 20th century. In addition to publishing
in numerous scholarly and popular journals, Dr. Moore helped to edit Songs
of Our Hearts and Meditations of Our Souls: Prayers for Black Catholics, published
by St. Anthony Messenger Press. She speaks with producer John Feister about
the legacy of African-American Catholics in our country.
