Portrait of Paul
St. Paul in Art
In observance of the Year of St. Paul, Father Norm Langenbrunner asks, "What did St. Paul look like?" The New Testament has no physical description, but that hasn’t stopped artists down through the centuries from portraying Paul.
Exploring Our Faith
Bishop Gabino Zavala, a native of Guerrero, Mexico, grew up in Los Angeles and attended St. John's Seminary. Ordained a priest in 1977 and a graduate of The Catholic University of America with a degree in canon law, he was named rector of St. John's Seminary in 1992. Two years later, Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony ordained him as an auxiliary bishop for the archdiocese. Bishop Zavala speaks with producer John Feister about the role of Hispanic Catholics in the Church here in our country.
