Throughout 2010, the Catholic Church in the United States is making marriage a priority.  Last November, the U.S. Bishops approved their pastoral letter, Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan, to "communicate from the riches of our Catholic faith the meaning and value of marriage and to offer support and practical assistance for it to flourish both in society and in the Church."  ACR offers a weekly "Marriage Moment," where a husband and wife answer a question about the challenge of living their special sacrament. Jim and Susan Vogt respond to "How do spouses get past 'the importance of being right'?"

Author, religious educator and retreat leader, Alice Camille has worked in parishes and campus ministry, supervised a shelter program for homeless women, and been active in ecumenical settings. She also contributes regularly to a number of Catholic magazines and homily services. For the Lenten season, she wrote a Catholic Update entitled "Lessons of the Heart: Lent, Day by Day."  She speaks with Producer John Feister in the second of two interviews about Lent.
