Producer John Feister interviews Franciscan Brother Daniel P. Sulmasy, Kilbride-Clinton Professor of Medicine and Ethics in the Department of Medicine and Divinity School, University of Chicago. He's also associate director of the MacLean Center for Medical Ethics, and practices medicine one-half day a week at a clinic for the underserved in the South Side of Chicago, staffed by University of Chicago faculty. Doctor Sulmasy recently received a White House appointment, to the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues.
