Highlights from this episode of American Catholic Radio include:
Living Faith
When 200 Franciscan University of Steubenville students board their flights for spring break, they won't be headed home to their families. Instead, they will venture out across the Americas to serve on 12 mission trips. These "Missions of Peace" allow these young men and women to connect with others and with God. John Paul Shoup, student coordinator, talks with Producer Judy Zarick about his experience with Missions of Peace.
Ask a Franciscan
Father Hilarion Kistner, OFM, answers questions: Is there a Book of Enoch in the Bible? Where did the devil come from? Were Jewish men required to have their heads covered at all times? Does Veronica, the woman who wiped Jesus' face, appear in the Bible? What is the meaning of Matthew 11:17?
Minute Meditation
This program’s Minute Meditation is from "Seeds and Fruits," written and read by Ursuline Sister Bridget Haase. For more from Sister Bridget visit her Web site, www.wisdomwonder.com.
Marriage Moment
Last November, the bishops of the United States a pastoral letter, Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan, as part of their multi-year "Pastoral Initiative for Marriage." Through it, they hope to "communicate from the riches of our Catholic faith the meaning and value of marriage and to offer support and practical assistance for it to flourish both in society and in the Church."  Our weekly "Marriage Moment," is a chance for us to help that effort. On this program, Greg and Jennifer Willits, hosts of their own talk radio show called "The Catholics Next Door," tackle the question, "What advice do you give to couples preparing to have children for the first time?"
