Marriage Moment
The Catholic Church in the United States is making marriage a priority, with a multi-year Pastoral Initiative to explore what sacramental married life means for the Church and for society. We here at American Catholic Radio are doing our part.  Commentator Susan Hines-Brigger is Assistant Managing Editor of St. Anthony Messenger magazine, where she writes the "Faith-Filled Family" column. She and her husband, Mark, have been married almost 15 years. They have three children and are expecting their fourth in August.  Susan's topic: "Show Them the Love"
Exploring Our Faith
John Feister interviews Dr. Jay Dolan, who served on the faculty at the University of Notre Dame for 33 years, where his field of specialty was American Catholic history. While at Notre Dame Dr. Dolan founded the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism in 1975 and was the director of the Center until 1993. He is author of  a number of books, most recently,  In Search of an American Catholicism: A History of Religion and Culture in Tension, published by Oxford University Press in 2002.  He talks with John about the role of Catholics in American history.
